LILBUDDY's SAS'd 2002 Tacoma (Update 9/18/08)
« on: May 03, 2008, 11:01:23 PM »
Yep thats right... I got another Tacoma.

I traded my 1997 for this 2002 and I also got 2K cash.

My previous builds:

97 Tacoma:
http://board.marlincrawler.com/index.php?topic=40288.0

86 4runner:
http://board.marlincrawler.com/index.php?topic=28665.0

81 Long Bed:
http://board.marlincrawler.com/index.php?topic=8642.0

Some specs for now:
2002 Tacoma
2.7L 4cyl
5spd
single case
60,000 miles

37/12.50/15 MT/R's with Black Steel rims

Front end:
d44
hysteer w/ 1ton rod ends
4.88s
13" BBCS shocks
44044 springs
toyota drive flange
steel braided brake lines
Crane Knuckles
4340 Chromoly front shafts with longfield u joints
welded

Rear end:

toy 8.4 rear
4.88s
5" all pro springs
13" BBCS shocks
steel braided brake lines

Random:

Blingin front seat
pioneer CD player
fror crossmember
cone air filter
square drive line
760 watts w/ 2 10" Xtreme subs
Flowmaster exhaust
8000k HID headlights :eyebrow:
4 rock lights

Plans so far are:
Get rid of gay tail lights
lower suspension
take out body lift
move axle forward
cut off bumper/sliders

put on my rock lights
fix high idle
fix broken lugs
figure out wiring issues (think its the gay tail lights)
put in new stereo/antenna/sub

new rear shackles
put in horn
Make rear bumper
put sliders back on
try to get front bumper to fit on
Chop the bottom part of the bed like my old truck

lots and lots of :bling:

And later on plans are:
duals
put in hydro assist
make new bumpers
bob bed
front locker

:beerchug:

From the body up yeah it looks better, from the body to the top of the tire, it looks like crap and obvously from the top of the tire to the bottom of the tire it looks good

In other words what im saying is right now in my opinion it looks kinda gay cause of how tall it is, but once its lowered it should look cooler then my 97 was... IDK though cause ill never beat how many weird glances i got from people driving an army green tacoma

Haha... yeah it does sit tall... if you didnt crawl it... i think it's sick... but for crawling, its a bit tall!

the army colored green was odd for that new of a Tacoma... but hey.. standing out is much better then being like the rest.

I may have missed this in the other thread but, why the swap?

Truck looks good though. Will defiantly look better when you lower it.
