My aunt had one just like that, she had bought when they first came out.  Same color and stripe decal!  Takes me back to the days when she would hit the bumps in the road, and finding out that the rear seatbelts don't lock you in the seat, but you get some serious air out of the seat!  I thought I was going out the back until the seatbelt spooled all the way out and stopped me!
Miss ya Dean (4THEWKN) & Kyle (KYOTA)!!

4THEWKN~9/17/2006  If it wasn't for you, I'd be driving something other than a Toyota!

lookin sweet man! is it too top heavy at all?  :dunno:
always remember a crowded elevator smells different to a midget.

"I sincerely believe that banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies, and that the principle of spending money to be paid by posterity, under the name of funding, is but swindling futurity on a large scale."

"The end of democracy and the defeat of the American Revolution will occur when government falls into the hands of lending institutions and moneyed incorporations."

Hey TC can you give me a detailed rundown on this build, I am very interested in doing this to my Sammi. Not so much the axles and that but the stretching part. It looks like a quick and simple way to increase my wb and create a spot for a winch.

looks like your already  running yj's or 4404's front and rear. leave the rear alone but you'll have to add a 1" block to the rear. Come off the front of the Samy frame w/2x4 box tubing 8" 's on both sides and box it in the front and put a plate of steel on the space out front to mount your winch. Weld your spring hooks to the very end of the 8" tubing. reinforce the existing samy spring hook @ the rear of the front so you can run Toyota 2" lifted shackles. You'll have shackle reverse and no more panhard on that front axle. When I took off my Trail Tough duel J shackles and did the reverse I gained an enormass amount of flex and have to run a long travle D-line. I love it and its not hard if ya can fabricate some. I'll get some pics.
