You read it above, can it be done without pulling the T cases out of rig?
I am not afraid to cut the tunnel out of the way because it needs to be fixed after chopping holes for third shifter handle anyway but, at the same time I'm not against pulling the T cases, it's just a PITA.

I am going to say no, but you may have to take the x-member off and drop the back down to in order to get to the inner-lock pill. TG twin-stick, hope they have fixed them so the shifter arms that go into the t-case no longer break off. There are much better quality products out there!!

I think it's technically possible, but retrieving the pin might be tricky and really difficult if it drops inside the case.

Ok, but do you really need double low 2WD?  That's the only reason to have to pull the interlock pin in the rear case if you didn't when you built the dual setup.

I never pulled mine and never felt a twinge of regret.  :dunno:

Why have a twin stick if you don't remove the interlock pin?

I don't believe so, how would you move the shift rail far enough to allow the pin to come out?

You did the triple stick setup primarily to relocate your shifters forward.  This makes sense.  I see no reason to install a twin stick without pulling the pin because it gains you nothing.

I could be wrong, but I though you could remove/slide the rail far enough and capture the pin with a magnet.

Uh........................cuz it looks cool???? Like an Atlas. Yes I think I read somewhere you can remove the pill with the cases installed. Some double case install instructions from someone.
Triple Sticks are cool.  :yesnod:

I guess pulling the T cases will be the right thing to do so next week they'll be dropped but, this weekend I'm going wheeling and using the three location shifters that like to bash my fingers because I never had them bent to interference free positions.

You know what they look like if you've been around here a while, I wanted Marlin sticks but, these are what I can get now.

The cases are almost out, just letting them drain overnight.

Everything but, a few bolts has been removed, unplugged, unbolted and unscrewed but, we are having a crazy So Cal "Wind Event" that isn't the Santa Ana winds but, is just as powerful even as cold as they are coming from the NW.

The simple answer to my question was, no.
It can't be done without dropping and separating the t case from the crawl box, T case has to come off so the shift rail can slide out so a magnet can remove the interlock pin.

I am about to put the crawl box back on the T case but, it is food time.

What I was saying was, I was hungry and putting the T cases back together had to wait until after lunch.
2wd low low? No, I need 4wd low low to go oh so slow, kind of like a turtle or tortious.

I need help getting this contraption back up and mated to the transmission, I only have one good hand thanks to a fonewhale.
