Hub wobble
« on: Oct 30, 2015, 06:23:03 PM »
When i bought my 97 Tacoma i got trigger happy and put a 6" fabtech lift.  i mean it looks cool, but now i am regretting it.  both my front hubs are wobbling and the ride is rough.  Any ideas on how to correct these issues. I put new Toyota hubs already still wobbles. its driving me crazy.  Should have done a sas swap

What do you mean the hubs wobble?

Something has to be worn out, i would guess front wheel bearings?

i got new toyota hubs, new car quest hub bearings, and new car quest axles.  i am thinking of getting new toyota axles to see if it will suck in the hub bearings.  i am thinking they are not mating correctly

yeah it wobbles pretty good. both sides. i am trying to go through the process of elimination. I am leaning toward the axles now.  although they are brand new.  but i'm thinking they are not mating correctly to the hubs.  just a thought because i am running out of ideas. lol or maybe it is the spindles.  they are aftermarket from fabtec
