Hodor.

Finally got some time to work on the drivers side.

Wrist twisting drilling for the ifs box

Really happy with how it came out.  Boxed in and frame plated

[small update] Made a skid to go from the bumper to the hanger in hopes of making the front end less of a rock anchor...

Found a pair of Corbeau TRS bucket seats on CL for a screaming deal.  They had some sun fade and one rip on the drivers side that ill stitch up.  If that doesn't hold I can always throw a patch over it down the road.

The blue centers wouldn't match my interior at all plus I wanted to also take care of the sun fade.  After a couple coats of spray on fabric dye they are starting to look   A couple more coats and it should be good!

The blue seat in the background is actually just one we use as a shop seat.  My interior is all factory red.  No plans for the factory front seats, probably just turn into more shop seating...  The drivers seat is so worn that the padding was basically gone.  Felt like you were just sitting on the framing.  These new seats will actually provide some comfort and support.  Its going to be a tight fit with the internal cage but I think I can make it all work.

Those turned out great. I'm interested to see how it holds up and if it bleeds onto clothes though. I'll keep it tuned here to find out!  :eyebrow:

I've used SEM brand vinyl and fabric dye for years with success. No rubbing off on white shirts and rather durable
