Been lurking here for a long time for tech info. I'm a LandCruiser guy (have owned three 80 series, a 40, and currently have a 100 and a 120), but recently bought a 93 pickup for my son. Plans for it are a doubler, simple armor, and 33's.

Hey Darrell.  :welcome: glad to see you are getting into the mini game. This dude builds some incredible cruisers. Excited to see what you do with your new pickup.

The son's truck is getting the basics; I built him some sliders and he has bumpers in the works. I installed a detroit in the rear, and it's already sitting on 33's. Next up is installing a doubler and then things will happen as his budget allows.
Currently I'm collecting parts for the next build: FJ40 with a stretched wheelbase, BJ75 cable locker axles (if I can get shipping worked out from AU, FJ60 axles otherwise), OM617/nv4500/ blackbox/ splitcase. The 40 is going to become my daily when the daughter takes the 100 as her first car so expect the 40 to be as nice as my budget for a new car would allow.
