WOW! BigMike LOTS of pictures. Thanks for posting. There's a lot of stuff I didn't know about, I didn't hear any breakage stories. Maybe you can tell them. There are rigs I didn't see at all either, I didn't see the green Ford pickup.

I teched the green ford it was a clean truck even had a custom fuel tank skid plate and what looked to be a big block

I was working Suicide and never saw it. I don't know how it was set up, maybe it was turned away at the bottom. Requirement is at least a rear locker.

The axle tubes are pressed into the third member on the Dana axles and with enough torque/weight/worn parts you can cause the third member to rotate about the side tubes. He got the Bad Luck trophy as a result :yupyup:

I saw a rig with the perches broken loose from the axle tubes, and the pinion yoke up against the underside of the body. Haven't seen the tubes spin in the diff housing though.

ok Then I'm probably wrong. I wasn't there but heard about it. Seems less likely for perches to fail since they'd be welded to the axle housing....?
