Yall and all this dash talk. Almost all the dashes around here are flawless, the beds and floor pans rot out over here.

:rofl2: HAHAHA That is so true. You should take the old trashed rigs and sell the dash's in Cali. You would make a killing!

Well I gave up on what I was trying to do with my wiring nightmare.

I made a agreement sense a Friend of mine is a little more knowledgeable in this sort of wiring department then me. Im going to put the engine back to stock with all the 93 sensors and put back the 1993 wiring harness and run the 93 ECU. Everything else we will rewire into the new ECU instead of the nonsense I was trying to do. But on a small note. I got a few things done.

Out of curiosity I wanted to hook up power and check with a volt meter to see just what was getting power and what wasnt. Welp. Nothing was.

So the most basic mechanic rule of thumb, Fuses. I never checked and lone behold!

SOMEONE ROBBED ME!  :haha:

Got all new fuses in and BAM! DASH LIGHTS! I know its dumb but this truck has been sitting for 7+ years and I feel like I got a tiny heart beat out of her today!  :willynilly:

So to check the rear I put in my "New" tail lights I snagged up for $20. Cheapest lights I have ever found

And wallah! Tail Lights lol.

So until tomorrow thats all I got. Sense I have free time im trying to get as much done as possible! Hopefully. JUST HOPEFULLY. If I get some help. My rig will run tomorrow. Shhh, dont tell her. She doesnt know yet!

ALSO, I snagged a 22re EFI Gas Tank, Fuel Pump, And sending unit. All for $40! Im getting pretty lucky on Toyota parts lastly!

Until next time Ya'll!

Got the fuel system all plumbed and ready to go. Not the best way to do it but the factory lines where clogged with dirt and not able to be used because they were pinched and broke.

So new high pressure fuel lines and hose clamps.

This is the tank and pump and sending unit I just bought for $40. Not a bad score. I didnt check if the pump worked before I bought it so Im glad it all turned out well  :hammerhead:

I had to cut off the nut and flare the end of this line so I can adapt it to my new fuel line. This is the line coming into the fuel Filter. It should work sense Ive used this method before.

Its looks weird because there is assembly lube on it to make the line slip on without tearing on the inside.

Fuel Line

All connected back together before it goes back onto the Fuel Filter.

Sending unit is all cleaned up and ready to go back into the tank

This is the Fuel Pump after I sand blasted to clean off the dirt. I had to do the same to this as I did with the Fuel Filter Line. Yes its not the proper way but It will work for now until I feel like updating or fixing it in the future.

Tank is ready to go in.

This is when its in the truck and the Fuel Line is plumbed. I still need to run a return vapor line so until then no back seats lol

I need to go to the parts store and grab a fuel neck also. I really wish I looked at this truck better before I bought it but at the same time I would have still bought it so whatever! :hammer:

Tomorrow is a day off from the rig so nothing until Friday. On Friday we are going to get the wiring finished and ill get the little things done to get this truck running. I want to hear the engine so bad its killing me! Even though I know it runs and drove the truck I pulled the engine from.

Thats it here. Im off to drink beer and sleep!  :beerwhack:

Nice build. I think some of your wiring issues you been dealing with may be due to the year of your 4Runner. Judging by the frame, it's an 84 or 85. May be worth looking at.

I looked into the frame more and looking at it I notice someone swapped a Solid axle 22r 4runner frame under it rather then doing a Solid Axle Swap. So yeah, Carberated frame, 1989 4runner body, and 1993 Engine.  :hammerhead:

Alright Y'all!!

Been a looong time but if anyone has seen my engine build posted in the engine build page you realize I have slacked on this build thread COMPLETELY. I do not want to start another thread even though this has a lot of amateur mistakes and bad knowledge on my part. Whatever. We live, we learn, and we adapt. After being in the industry professionally now for years I have crafted my skills and am going to show you guys the progress the o'l gal has been threw. i will be uploading pictures and start a HUGE update that will be posted within a few days. I feel its finally time to drag this build up and not let it be dead with the rest of the half finished build thread across the internet. So stay tunes and be prepped for it all. I have a lot to do before this winter season is over so I can hopefully see some snow!! I wont let ya down again!

Lets get this ball back rollin :beerchug:
