Marlin Crawler is looking for individuals or 4WD clubs who are willing to lead organized groups into the Springs camp ground for the 14th Annual Round Up this September 18-20, 2015.

The purpose of this thread is to gather and list groups heading in who have a fixed number of open slots for participants new to the trail or looking for a group to wheel with.

If you are traveling to our event by yourself and/or are wheeling the Rubicon for your first time, then please post up that you are looking for a group to join! I will update and maintain this thread with group information and party members.

The thread is looking for the following four different groups:
  • Loon Lake In-bound Groups
  • Tahoe Lake In-bound Groups
and for the exit strategy,
  • Loon Lake Out-bound Groups
  • Tahoe Lake Out-bound Groups

I know there have been clubs as well as individuals who have helped in the past in forming groups. If this is you then please also post up and I'll get you added to this opening post along with the number of rigs you'd be interested in taking in! :driving:

Around what day and time you plan on being at the trail head?

mudluvr

Hey wheelers!

I'll be at the Tahoma side on the 18th, probably earlier the better. Ill be there 9-10am Friday Sept. 18th. Once we make some plans we can decide on a definite time. Let me know what everybody thinks!

Can't wait!

So we've never done a trip like this before. So there will be two groups coming to the Springs Campground from two different places? Is any one way recommended for newbies in a full size rig like us?

As a heads up, there will also be a work party on Cadillac Hill Sept 18-20th.

On Friday, they will be doing mostly the prep work, but on Saturday they will be pouring concrete.  Cadillac Hill will have next to no passage on Saturday the 19th due to shoring up and stabilizing the hill.  Thanks in advance for your understanding and cooperation.

This should not effect anyone coming in via Loon or WWS, but if you plan on dropping in on Saturday from Tahoma, you will not be able to get by.

Sunday it should be clear for us to exit as normal.

I'll be heading in Wednesday around noon with a group of 3 rigs on the Tahoe side if anyone wants to join the run into springs

ssicoffroadshop

looks like I will be leading a group of at least 3 rigs at this point from loon on Thursday night/afternoon. if you want to join our group then text me @ (916)595-4472 and let me know. probably set up camp part way in because this trail is a lot more fun during the day when you can see the sights. Then I will be looking for a group out on Monday back to loon
