Kingsburg Snow Poker Run 3/7/15
« on: Mar 04, 2015, 09:14:47 AM »
I am looking for a ride with someone going to the Kingsburg Snow Poker Run this Saturday, 3/7/15. More info here: http://kingsburg4wdclub.net/?page_id=626.

Anyone have a right seat available? BigMike?

Well, this is kind of awkward. Just after I posted this I got a call and I'm driving after all so no seat needed. Perhaps I'll see some of you there.

I talked to a member of the Kingsburg 4WD Club yesterday. He says on Monday there was an inch of snow at Quail Flat, where we usually air down at. He said the three big raffle prizes are 2 winches, and an on board welder. Law enforcement will be out in force, and especially looking for people driving off road. They didn't get the harder route mentioned on the flyer, they applied for it, but it wasn't allowed. He also said they are seriously thinking of moving the run in the future to the Bald Mountain area, because the Sequoia NF gives them (and participants) such a hard time every year.
