i have some 4 " procomp springs in my 85 4runner with a stock shackle. im happy with the compression but how would i get a little more droop out of the front springs? open the leaf clamps up?

Either get some longer shackles, or if they are nearly verticle, then move the shackle frame mount forward about an inch to get a better shackle angle

yeah i kinda want to keep the shackle hole in the stock position, i guess im just gonna have to get longer springs.

thanks for the reply.

Take those spring apart and use them for add-a-leafs in a pack of rears and put them in the front.  Projunk springs suck.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

se i was thinking that, and run some boomerrang shackles, but then id have to do high steer immediately, and im not sure what my pitman arm clearance would be like with the stock hangers.

on top of all that i threw away my rears after i did my chevy spring swap :smack:  :shakehead:

I have an 85 runner and put rears in the front with stock steering, but I used AP relocation plates (make some) to move the axle back to clear my steering until I had the $$$ for cross over steering.  It got me by for a bit.  Be sure to see if shocks are limiting your travle also.
