OOPS

Coming out of the Rubicon Trail on Sunday we decided to take the True/Old Sluice instead of the slabs. About one-third into I broke something in my transfer case. With a lot of winching, strapping and grumbling we made it to the slabs on the other end for a flat place to work on it. We removed the broken T-case and replace it with a different one. I was told to sit down and hold the flashlight old man.

I want to give a big THANK YOU to; Marlin Czajkowski and Christine Czajkowski who were already on their way home to Fresno, turned around and came back to Loon Lake, Marlin Czajkowski for pulling his T-cases out of his rig and bringing them in and helping to replacing them, Rick Crarey, from Canada, for running to Loon and picking up Marlin and the T-cases, bring them back to the broken rig. Larry Allen, from Reno area Ken Park, from Oregon and Rick Crarey for getting me out of the Sluice and doing the work on the rig. Amanda Giantvalley, from Reno area and Theresa Fritzsche, my beautiful bride, for keeping us fed and watered the whole time.

These people are true FRIENDS and went above and beyond in our time of need. We got back to the staging area at Loon about 45 minutes before sun up, got Marlin's rig ready to go and they took off, the rest of us got in our tow rigs and caught some shut eye for a few hours, All in all it was a great week on the Con with friends. Thank you again and again and again!!

I have been a strong supporter of Marlin and Marlin Crawler since he hand delivered my first 4.7 Case (the one I blew) since 1997.  Someone said on Facebook that I have 40 thousand miles on those cases, all in the 4.7's!! :D

Marlin will go above and beyond for anybody!!  Mike has told me about Marlin driving all the way to Oregon just to take care of a customer.  And let alone his trip to Australia!!  And I love stopping by the shop, and when you get his brain going, or he is showing you his newest Top Secret build, he is like a kid, and I love to see the sparkle in his eye as he gets all excited like a kid on Xmas morning!!

But all in all, Marlin is a legend in the industry.  No matter if you bad mouth his product on another forum, he will still help you while broken on the trail.  He might mention something about Squirrels, but he will help you.
Miss ya Dean (4THEWKN) & Kyle (KYOTA)!!

X2 on the little kid sparkle in his eye. it is fun to watch him go. You learn a lot from him in just a short time standing next to hIm.
