trans swap 2wd style

Ok so im new to the 2wd toyota transmissions but I've got a project 1983 lwb drifter the factory five speed trans was plumb worn out andI picked up a w55 trans from a wrecking yard 91 22 re truck and stabbed it in the swap was simple but I have now been driving the truck for some time now with no speedometer as the w55 that I installed was a factory electronic speedo drive my question is does anyone make a conversion kit to make this gear box run my factory cable driven speedometer?? Or was this transmission ever available possibly in a older truck with a Manuel driven speedometer??
