I am new to rock crawling. However I do have a little mechanical ability. My ride I have just purchased is a well used tube buggy that has Toyota running gear with dual t case's. The rear case is leaking from the rear section of the case behind the front drive shaft output. Whats confusing me is that all the Toyota cases I have seen are solid cast in this area however this case has an 3in opening behind the front drive shaft output. And it looks like there is a tin cover pressed into the bearing opening, it looks like a small paint can lid? Is this a PTO output? I cant find anything on line and the previous owner went to his local Toyota dealer and they had no idea.
