  I go just to hang out and see friends that I typically only get to see at this event and to meet new people and checkout some cool rigs. Not to mention, get and share build ideas for my rig.  :gap: And for anyone who has yet to meet Marlin and his wonderful family, BONUS! You will get to meet the man himself. It will definitely NOT SUCK!  All this and you get to wheel on the fabled Rubicon Trail. How could this possibly suck? Granted, while it may not be up to the usual standards of MCRs past it will be nothing short of a good time.  :beerchug:

Just to let everyone know, Big Mike should have the registration up and running by tomorrow afternoon. You will need to get your registrations in as soon as possible since I will be limiting the vehicle count to 100 and registration will close effective July 31st. Don't hesitate and wait until the last second! See you there the weekend of August 22-24, 2014!

Mike said earlier that it probably wouldn't be a full blown-out tri-tip dinner. But there will be a dinner.

So then is there a point in buying a ticket or do I just show up and buy a bunch of raffle tickets during the drawing? Just sounds like there won't be much going on and trying to get clarification before I drop 100 bucks.

can i use some of the Crawler cards i have saved up to pay for the round up? Looks like my work schedule might be changing so i can make it.

Also when you get the registration link up where will it be? I have never been in town to make the round up due to work so hopefully this year will be the first.

Seriously dude?  ::)

If you don't plan on eating, don't plan on camping at the Springs Campground, don't want an event tee-shirt, and don't plan on participating in anything else but the raffle, then by all means just show up and buy raffle tickets.

Yeah seriously. Why is the event getting weaker year after year? I'm sorry if I'm the only one that will call it like I see it. I enjoy the event just like the rest but it's sad that it seems to be dwindling away.

I'm not saying anything bad against the event or marlin crew I'm simply inquiring.

I'm basing my good time on the quality of people that go, not the quantity. Besides, I'm sure the limited number this year has many factors involved unbeknownst to us. I figure with it being  this late to get it off the ground the 100 participant count is for the mere fact that they wouldn't have enough time to process the usual number of registrations and get everything together for that number of people in the same short period. Hopefully, they have been just busy with their customer base and not having personal problems that have kept them be being on track with the event.we all have to have patience and recognize they are people too.  Just my  :twocents::beerchug:

Well, if your going to get indignant about what seems to be a simple question, tell me, what else is there to "participate in"?
