Tube Doors -Double Cab Tacoma

I scored a set of Marlin Tacoma tube doors awhile back. I'd like to get a set made for my rear doors (1st gen DC) that match the doors that I have for the front. Anyone have any ideas? I don't know of a fab shop locally that would do it.

I called 4XInnovations a few times. They've had no interest in tube doors for the 1st gen DCs. Has anyone heard of of a place that makes these? I can't imagine I'm the only one that wants a set.

I guess I don't know why you need tube doors for the rearward doors. The whole point of tube doors is so you the driver and your passenger spotter can see the rocks....

are the hinges the same design and size of front? the door handle looks the same. maybe another set of fronts shortened up a little

I don't NEED tube doors in the back. I WANT them. I would argue visibility for the front passenger is not the "whole" reason. And even if it was, why not pass that on to the rear passengers, even if they're not doing the spotting. 4xInnovations makes rear doors for the 2nd Gen Tacos, and 4Runners, so I'm obviously not the only one with the idea.

I thought of that. But I'm pretty sure the hinge spacing is different. I'll look again.

So, after a few phone calls, 4XI has agreeed to make a run of rear doors for the first gen double cabs....IF they have 5 orders. I'm going to try to get some interest going. PM me or reply here, I'm going to make a list and take it back to them.
