Heavy Duty Organizers for Tool Boxes/Bags/Ammo Cans/Etc.
« on: Feb 14, 2014, 03:16:39 PM »
I have had a hard time finding small bags to organize tools/stuff in either my tool box or other compartmentalized parts of my backpacks.  I want something that is going to last and go through hell and back.  Being that I can't find anything (for a reasonable price), I figured I was going to make it.  I'm thinking about using 4.5" fire hose and metal zippers to make small bags for organization.  Would anyone be interested in them or should I just order enough to make some for me?  If you are interested, what would be the price point you guys would want me to meet (be reasonable, under $10 isn't going to happen unless someone has a good supplier for good zippers).

I have several like these, and I love them for misc. stuff.  I get them at our local Fred Meyer/Kroger store.

And if you go to Amazon they come in all sizes and prices.  I'm not trying to burst your bubble.  Just showing you what I use, and where I get them.

I pick up ammo cans when I can find them cheap, and not beat to crap.  But I don't store tools in them.  They make to much noise bouncing around.

I wanted to store tools in bags in ammo cans (ammo cans are bolted to bed).  Thanks guys, Just didn't want any Chinese cheap material crap.  I looked on amazon, they all looked cheap.
