For now I believe I will continue to run my front disk rear drum setup, however I was wondering if anyone had any upgrade tips to get more positive stopping power and also eliminate the nasty right side pull I get when stopping at higher speeds. 85 Toyota pickup, 22r carbed.

Get the 1" bore Toy master cylinder, swap over to FJ60 rotors, v6 calipers, new brake lines, and you will need wheel spacers.  Find a 3rd gen rear axle (iirc) it will have bigger brake drums.  Then you will stop hard and straight!!!

Any recommendations for the 1 inch mc as far as truck year?

The pull might be due to sticky calipers.

Ifs hubs and fror tacoma caliper kit. gets you slide off rotors, also dont have to mess with wheel bearings when swapping birfs. IFS rear axle for sure. With ifs hubs and the axle u shouldnt need spacers. This is the plan for me

I am running stock IFS rotors and calipers on my 84 with a rear disc swap kit using chevy truck rotors machined to fit toy axle flange  and 1979 chevy G body calipers and a fj80 master cylinder. 4 wheel disc and all bolt on and you don't have to play with different purporting valves.. I think All Pro is where I got the rear kit.

I am running two inch spacers on the front and IFS axle in the rear. Works for me.

My truck is kinda light in the rear so I am going to try an adjustable valve for the rear because she likes to slide when it's raining, especially in a slow sharp turn.

I am sure the lockers don't help much with that little problem, The KM2s don't help ether but I can't afford a set of rain tires to go with my offroad tires.

If you have stock steering and have removed the Torque Rod you will get "brake steer" when you are on the brakes. If you still have the torque rod and your truck is lifted and you did not make the torque rod level, you will get brake steer.

Appreciate everybody's setup inputs, alot of options to look at. I am in the process of gathering up the parts for hi steer. I hear you bad news bob, I'm running a flat bed so when the first rain comes i Tokyo drift all over the damn place.
