Chepo Saddle Trail

Hello everyone.
Anyone here done the Chepo Saddle trail near Bass Lake? I went and did this trail yesterday for my first time. I think I pulled a muscle I was puckered up so much doing this trail. The trail is pretty short, but very tough, at least I thought so. I did not get any video, and only got a few pics when I was out of my rig. Great little trail to go and wheel for the day. Hit the trail around noon and was back at home in Fresno by 6pm.

Yeah, I've been through there a couple times. It's a nice trail, it's close to Fresno, and it's lower so it doesn't get (much, any?) snow. I didn't recognize the spots in your pics and maybe that's why I didn't think it was that hard. Fun trail.

I've done it once in the rain but was having issues with my truck and have always wanted to run it again. It's true that driving 120 miles for such a short trail is tough but I have a few friends in the Oakhurst area that I can hang out with-

Also what are the details on that Datsun ... 620??

It's a Datsun on a ,I think, a 81 Toyota chassis with all Toyota running gear. The main trail is pretty easy. It's when you take that drop into the creek bed route that things get REAL hairy.

How do you get to this trail? is it off road 220?

Pics are small but the Datsun looks like it my buddy Shawn's truck from north fork. Datsun body on yota frame with all yota runnin gear. That truck gets attention everywhere! And crazy mike has always got his hood open on that jeep lol. Looks like a fun trail

it a 15 minute trail the main trail is pretty easy its seprate reality , and spirt world that makes the trail kinda hard its off of rd 222 the other trail that is close and fun is mcloed flat off of beasore rd

Yes that is Shawn's truck. It's pretty sweet! One of a kind for sure!
