81 Hilux

81 hilux long bed, reg cab, 22r, 4 speed. Just purchased the day I left to work. It runs like a champ. I will be home in a couple weeks and am trying to get some stuff ordered so it's waiting for me when I get home. I plan on regearing diff's to 4.88, putting 63" springs in the rear, moving the rear springs to the front, fixing the emergency break, adjusting the carb, and putting some 33's on it when I get home. Any other starter mods I can do I would love to hear.

Very nice truck! Only thing I am going to do different is 4.88's in the diffs. I'm going to start ordering parts so they are there when I get home in a couple weeks. Thanks for the reply

A high steer is a good basic upgrade that will save a lot of headake that the stock steering gives. Another thing is extended stainless brake lines and Long travle shocks for max suspension articulation. Those are some of the things I'd do.
