lookin to gain some more flex out of my rear heres the 2 options i could come up with cause im tryin to keep costs low so option 1 would be better just dont know if i should just go all in so here goes

option 1:
take my rear springs and move them inward like they do the ftoys and make then 28 or 29 inches wide same as the front and get creeper joints for the shackles to sit in....i wanna do this cause im tired of my rear tire lifting....i dont know if doing those mods would help and give me more rear flex or if i should do

option 2:
four link the rear.....and if i opt to 4 link the rear could i get some info on some good ways to do it where to mount the links what angles to run the links from someone who has done a rear 4 link before

any info would help im running long travel rear leafs but they dont flex as much as i want so any info would be a big help

thanks guys

inboard the springs F-toy style.  it will be much cheaper than 4 link and it makes a huge difference in how it flexes.  my dads 81 pickup has inboard rear springs and it works very well

I have never seen springs moved inward. I got more flex by making my rear wider w spacers and mounting my shocks like /\. I am running all pro springs and I need to start cutting body panels to clear my 37's.  I am curious about moving the springs inward.  I got a buddy who just linked his rig. Insane flex but he spent a lot of money.

If you daily drive it inboarded springs can be wobbly or unstable, esp with creeper joints. No saying it cant work well, but each spring doesn't isolate the movement of each tire as much.
Im working on a four link now... It doesn't cost a fortune, but its more than springs.  And you have to be a decent fabricator or be willing to spend some time reading and learning if you want it to work right.  From what I can tell..
Just my .2 cents.

if you inboard the springs and then put your shocks on the outside of the springs as vertical as possible, it wont be unstable.  my dads truck handles like a normal truck on the highway with inboarded springs.  But he is not using the creeper joints either. I wouldn't use those if it is going to be daily driven.

my rig is trails only truck i got long travel leafs in the rear relocted shocks to top of axle and they are pointed inward my buddy was just thinkin if i inboarded them i would have more chance to roll it would become unstable so i didnt know if anyone has done the inboarding and ran into this problem 4 link wouldnt cost to much but it would take me a while to do once the winter hits the truck is being torn down and gone over so i was gonna redo my suspension too......i am a good fabricator but i dont completely understand the 4 link angles and all that id def have to do some reading just figured since i already have the springs i would try the inboard first since it would be cheaper and if i didnt like it i can always 4 link it later

if you mount a set of good quality shocks (like the pressurized bilsteins) on the outside of the leaf springs after doing the inboard, its not going to feel unstable.  if the shocks are mounted in a proper vertical position and not like /\, then they will help stabilize the vehicle like shocks are supposed to do!
