168/ snow park

The Tamarack Snow Park is being converted to a Fire Camp so access to 168/Bald  is closed there.



You must use the detour at the junction of 9S09 and 9S69 (takes you to the South Fork of Tamarack) to access 168/Bald from the North side.



Can you please update your websites/Blogs/My space/Office boards to help inform the Public of this message.



Use of Bald mountain and camping in the area is open.  Just access through the Tamarack Snow Park is closed for the time being.  With over 1,000 fire fighters on the fire we need space for camping.

I wonder why they didn't just head down Rock Ck road a few hundred yards and set up in one or several of the huge flat areas...or they are doing both?  :p
