Would recommend coming in from either Eagle Lakes or Fordyce Lake, and not the Meadow side, this way you will not be hitting the hardest section out the gate, and either side will be good for shaking down your set-up.

thats what I would do. I live near Nevada City area, so just jam up 20 hit 80 and I'm there. prolly gonna be alot folks up there
