I havent done the rock rings on mine....just thinking about doing it. Ive heard they balance out well if you static ballance the inside with stick on weights and then put the balance beads inside the tire to give it the full balance or the dynamic side of balancing a tire but  I dont know.

HA! I'm dumb! i thought for some reason you meant the diff armor.
I bought the wheels and tires already set up for 800 bucks!! I've only driven it once on the road w/ these tires and they where ok. They aren't balanced at all. Not to much vibration.

Siiiiiick clean looking 82  man!!! The runner is gonna b sweet to! I had the same problem an I had a 92 runner  I planned on building for mild wheeling an mountain loin hunting! But it needed motor work an I was not up to it at the time, so I dumped it an went for it on the truck!
Sometimes life is a rock an we need a Yota to get over it an Chevy is like a rock so I'm over it!!!

Ya my uncle has a 92 we built up for crawling but he don't crawl. He uses it for lion hunting an it gets around super good! It could wheel anywhere if he didn't want a body left!  :driving: my bro wheels it more than anyone!

My next deal is I went to rear disk and I got a proportional valve, but am I going to need a residul valve somewhere in the mix? I know that some applications for drum you got to have around 10 psi in the line when you let off the pedal. For disk its less and they will drag so you have to got to a 2 psi.....just what Ive read a little. Anyone with the disk brake conv in the rear have to do that?
