I wish I shot enough to need to reload my own.  I need to stock up on .300 Savage brass.  Since most manufacturers are going away from that caliber.   :sad2:

Thanks, will check it out.  Biggest problem is my roommates don't even like me having stuff in the fridge, let alone the house.  Was gonna talk my friend into it but his dad is getting back into reloading too, so he won't need it.

40 cal, 308, 243, 6.5x55 swede, and a very little 223 and 10mm so far...  And a little 9mm and 7.62x54 I picked up at the range.  Was asleep at the wheel and didn't notice the guys to my right left a ton of brass till a guy pulled up and filled a large coffe can 1 1/2 times with 223 brass  :shake:

I have a bad (read: good) habit of buying ammo for guns I don't own, which comes in handy when I do buy one.  My glock was the only gun I've ever bought that I didn't already have ammo stocked for, but I had 100 rounds by the time I picked it up.  I have some 300 win mag, 30-30 and 9mm but don't have any of those yet.  Yet  :wink2:

I need a lot more bullets however.

You have some good equipment there. all serviceable equipment and parts are still available, some of the primers and powder looks real old but that don't normally mean much. If you don't have them get several books. Lees and Lymans have some of the best info for new reloaders. Almost all of the powder companies have info online as do the bullet companies. There is so much more you can do when you reload it makes shooting even more fun IMHO.
Dig in and have fun now while we still can.

Bob ya show off  nice collection there buddy, I've reloaded over 500 12 g  shells now I'm debating on starting on .45 or.223 to get my feet wet on, dont own a .223 but I'm giving them to a friend, but I have a .45 so I think I'm gonna start there and see how it goes  I have lots and lots of bullets for the .223 and just about 150 of .45, so .45 it will be quick then onto .223

Straight walled pistol cases are easier to reload than rifle cases, Just make sure you have the crimp die set right or they may not feed in a 1911. Also if you have carbide pistol dies you don't have to lube the cases. The rifle cartridges all need to be lubed before you can re size them. 8)
