picked up the new frame today. $100 came with a title and the vin plate on the dash. on the frame has the push pull power steering box..hopefully someone needs it. best part is this is a 83 shortbox frame...matches my truck!
the trailer is my teachers, hopefully he will let me borrow it over the summer for wheeling trip

this is the tow rig. i will use it only for trips to oregon and places in washington. it just eats to much gas. its an 85 chev 3/4 ton 2wd 454 auto tranny w/o overdrive. it pulls awesome and has plenty of power...just ask the ricers . its downfall is it sucks to much gas, thats why i wont be using it for the roundup. but it has 2 10" subs for the bumps

got the frame to school today. already started rippin it apart. its nice having friends that want to help.

busted out the cutting torch today and started to cut some items off the frame. i got to the front of the truck to cut off the stock hangers and ran out of acetylin(sp?) so tomarrow a new bottle will be waiting and back to torching  
saturday im going to get material and start makinf bring hangers and what not

yeah, western WA.  we're on spring break, and we're going to pick up steel this week for the rear spring hangers. and the front spring hanger.

of course. 1st day back to school from spring break. im so happy to get back into school let me tell you what. got the gas tank out, some misc griding. need to do some more torch work to the front hanger and  grind and then cut off the last rear front spring hanger. picked up some steel i need for the front hanger and something else...i can't quite remeber . anyway. its coming slowly but surely. all i want done by the time school gets out is a rolling chassis with my motor and tranny in place. with most of the body work done to the cab. from there i dont mind towing it home and finishing it here. im not in a big rush, having it look good and be safe are much more important than driving it next week. besides im running low on cash   

also i need a diagram and proboly some help rebuilding my front axle. cough**PRISMO**cough or cough**KYOTA**cough. i could make a day out there.

It will make it easier of course but the cab alone wont get in your way too much if you wait till the cab is mounted

the frame needs a bit more grinding. then its a sexy clean frame  ready for all new hangers . i took pics on a regualr camera. should have pics for ya'll this weekend

Umm yea the bed is hacked to hell.  Neither he nor I had anything to do with that one.   It was the owner before me that did that lovely bit of hacking....

hey i did some work today, sorta. with help from TO THE FLOOR(nick) and buddy our donn we got the cab sitting on blocks on the original frame. donn got the e-brake disconected. so once it was in the air i checked everything and the body is ready to come off. now the truck is how to get it off to sit next to the new frame

in metal shop today i looked at my spring hanger and reliezed i wasnt square. so i knocked off the inner tabs and grinded them smooth. nick went and cut a 3" piece of 2x2 so i can put it in between the hangers and have them nice and square. dont want it looking like white trash owned it.

that truck was so hacked by the first to owners when i got it i dident do a damn thing to it but beat the hell out of it then WT go tit im just glad soem one loves it now

yep i want the first two owners to see what the truck will become. thats some motivation. everyday we notice something else ghetto. anyway i have open shop tonight so the body is coming off. spent the 2hours in autobody just getting everything set to take it off. in metal shop now about to build my spring hanger.

That wont be a problem.  Most of it has had crap welded to it and cut back off so many times its scary.  And technically I never owned the bucket either.   I stipped it and sold it.
