I HAVE A 89 V6 EXT CAB STRAIGHT CONV ON 36'S. I HAVE DEVELOPED A POWER STEERING LEAK OUT OF WHAT SEEMS TO BE A CHECK BALL ON THE GEAR BOX. ITS UP NEAR THE STEERING SHAFT. BUT WHAT REALLY GETS ME IT ONLY LEAKS WHEN I TURN TO THE RIGHT? ANY INFO WOULD BE GREAT.

I devloped that same problem on the Gate Keeper.  Under the adjusting nut there is a seal/washer that got thrashed from what can only be a combination of heat and excessive slop (play) in the sector shaft.

Toyota p/n is 90210-10001, cost is about $6.00
