Aussie or spartan in the front

With Christmas around the corner, I am trying to figure out which locker to order for the front axle ('84).  36" tires. I don't have the cash to drop on an arb and even Detroit is a bit out of my price range. This is a trail only or emergency hospital run type rig. Which would be better in the front, Aussie or Spartan.

Both are great lockers. Do some research and pick which company you like better. I would run either in a heart beat.

i have ran both .. both work fine and work the same ... i would go with spartan locker cause they look like they are built better plus  you don't reuse the shims or the cross pin, spartan locker is easier to install (both are easy).I never have any issue aussie or spartan
