So far, lowered 4" in rear, about 3 in front, had windshield seal manufactured, window felts replaced, all hoses replaced, waterpump replaced, fixed eroded housing, fender mirrors mounted, all fluids replaced, replaced and fabbed up transmission ebrake pads, got passenger door to close a bit better and have driven her around a bit. Hoping to replace tires this weekend as ones on it are a bit weather checked and have some bulges..... Oops...

So far I've done a little work to the Stout

Dropped her down about 3" in the front and 4" in the rear.

Installed flaps
Replaced all hoses and belt
Waterpump replaced
Had to fix the waterpump housing as It had eroded....
Clutch master replaced
Newer tires
Windshield seal manufactured and installed
All oil replaced
Welded up cracks in door skin
E-brake shoes replaced
Fixed hinge issue which made the door not want to close
Installed fender mount mirrors

Driven a few tanks of gas through her. Runs great with the 3r and 4 on the tree. Great around town and get lots of smiles and questions.

Lots left to do still. Some rust on passenger door skin will need to cut out and replaced.
46 years worth of use had left some dents and bodywork in need....
When all that gets done I plan on swapping the 3rz in.....

Just an update and thanks to the marlin crawler forum for guiding me to the Stout!

Nice classic Toyota!

They definitely don't build them like they used to!

Lowered by blocks in the rear and removing overload leaves, cut coils in the front. Have since purchased 1.5 other stouts so planning on keeping frame of one to lower with bags.

If anyone is looking for a stout, have a roller for sale in the classifieds!
