Tranny shifter all sorts of weird

Need some advise guys. In my 94 toyota 5speed v6 tranny the shifter swings left and right all the way to the dash in 3rd and 4th gear kindve scary feeling but shifts fine. Any ideas of what it would be?

jimbo is right. Sounds like either a wasted or missing shift seat and socket!

We make a heavy duty version made out of delrin which will make a WORLD of difference!

Thanks for the input I will definitely be ordering the socket and seat here soon. Now I need to figure what tranny I have im sure I have a good idea but its a 94 v6 toyota whats your guess?

A V6 (3-liter 3VZ-E) 1994 2WD or 4WD Truck will have a R150-type transmission which uses our white shift seat I'd also suggest grabbing our HD socket as well since you'll be in there and your scenario sounds pretty bad (so your stock parts are probably pretty worn out). I see you've had trouble with a previous order, but that part was out of stock and you were not notified of this. Parts that are in stock 98% of the time ship the same day the order is placed, so long as the order is placed before about 3pm PST. We have plenty of these HD shifter parts in stock so I'm sure your next experience will be most pleasant.
