that's sick! I like the rear frame section I've never seen one like that before and I might have to copy some elements of what you did there. not piece for piece, but the shock hoops look great, and I don't even know what you'd call this.. a "bobbed dovetail?" because it's shorter but different shape. I dont know.. I really like it dude! if you're ever anywhere near western Washington we should go wheelin

my only question- I bought an 88 Xtra-Cab that spent most of its' life in Arkansas which to my ignorant geographic knowledge is at least similar to Texas, and the bedsides are completely rusted out. I can pick their cheesy bondo patches off with 1 finger. how is this truck for rust? are the frame and cab doing alright? if it isn't completely rusted, the parts that are intact can be dented with a light punch. so I'm just curious how the sheetmetal and frame and axles held up. off topic of a build, but I just want to know. pictures only show paint, they don't tell us what the inside looks like, and most don't really care, but I find some curiosity in it.

well my truck has almost zero rust.....i live west in west texas......no rain no snow hardly ever.....and an average temperature in the 90s ....so everything is pretty solid on it ...weather is great for the most part...the dryer the weather the less rust :flamer:
