V6 adapter plate and 4.7 case removal
« on: Jun 23, 2012, 06:17:00 AM »
The question is I'm looking to sell my truck. It has a Marlin Crawler V6 to 4 cylinder adapter and a single 4.7 case. I'm thinking of keeping them. Will I be able to remove them and put the old chain driven case back in? Will there be any issues with where I ground the transmision to clear the bolt for the adapter plate and what about removing the coupler? let me know if any of you guy's have done this. Thanks!

I'm not sure what you have to grind for that adapter. But besides that it would bolt all back up like stock
