Beige 2nd gen truck interior parts
« on: May 16, 2012, 06:42:10 PM »
Got a little restoration project going, looking for some beige interior parts.  This is a few shades lighter than the more common brown color.  Specific items wanted are A-pillar trim, steering column cover, and possibly steering wheel center section if it's the right type.  May be interested in other beige items too.

Brown & beige are really close, some may find it tough to know the difference without seeing them side by side.  If you've got a black steering column cover, then expect your interior is brown, not beige.

Mine is a truck (87).  Yours if the first I've heard of a beige interior 4runner!  I was in El Paso a month ago, and at the megapull yard on Montana Ave there was an 88 extra-cab 2wd auto truck with beige interior.  It still had the passenger bucket seat in it, you might be able to get the headrest if someone helps you out.

I got a few things off of it, such as a steering wheel center cover and a couple dash vents.  The auto was column-shift so the steering column cover was wrong, it had a hole in the top where the indicator pokes out showing what gear you're in.

2nd gen 4runner, looking pretty good though! With all the dead ones in junkyards with 3.0s nowadays one like yours may be my next trail rig.
