Hey, that's my rig! I came over here to try and post it up, but somebody beat me to it! That's a good thing though, cause I don't have my 12 posts yet, so I'm gonna try and build those up (hopefully with posts which aren't as lame as this one). Anyway, I got committed to my 3.4 swap, and need the cash, so I have to sell my awesome little diesel 4Runner. Running strong, purs like a kitten, cold starts great, turbo spools great, all that info about cracked heads is wrong - you just have to know what you're doing with this engine and it'll run forever. Loves diesel or biodiesel. Has quite a few mods to make it last long and live healthy. Pics are here, with a bunch of explanation:
1986 Diesel 4Runner (2LT-II) - ImgurWill come without the winch (explains why in the photos). Has a rebuilt injection pump, with viton seals, so regular diesel doesn't hurt it. Turbo is recently rebuilt. New injectors, and now it pulls awesome. Clutch does start to slip at highway speeds up a hill though. Asking $4000, or best offer. You can't even get just the engine for that, let alone a whole rig. I have a ton of info for those seriously interested. Lemme know,
