1st gen low budget offroad build

Iv been wanting to do a build thread for a wile now but didn't have the time or money. its been a slow start but ill show you what iv done so far. I'm going to be doing a lot in the next month or so.

i got it for a $1000 in 2009 with a horrible paint job yes teal and chrome the solid black i did so i didn't have to see it any more it was just a quick fix.

some drunk lady ran into the back of it but i didn't care because i was going to bob it.

then i had to build the top end the valves were shot on 3 and 4. I also replaced the 5speed because the 4th gear was messed up. Then i put in 4.7 tcase gears with twin sticks and welded the rear diff.

i bought a 96 4runner from a friend that he rolled. it had 4.88 diffs and the 3.4. my plan was to put the drive train under my 1st gen but once i started locking at all the wiring i decided to only use the axle and front hub and ebrake. I'm also thinking about putting the 4runner front disk brakes in the back but i would lose the ebrake.

Iv only gone on two trips with it because it is always taken apart but and not street legal.

i welded the 8inch in the rear but didn't do the front one because i dont have chromoly axles and im going to run a spartan. I'm going to weld the v6 rear when i have time to swap the whole axle over and put my G2 4.88 gears up front.
