Trying to figure out what Transmission I have on new truck

Just bought a 84/84 hybrid truck the other day. I was not going to do anything with the transmission but I think that I might have the transmission gone through and cleaned up since I've stripped the entire truck down to the frame.

The truck is VERY solid. Cab is perfect and it's a 1984 extra cab and I think the frame and drivetrain is from a 85' w/ 22re. I'm not 100% sure though as I've not dug through it all. But I'm fairly certain that it's a true 22RE not a 22R converted to a 22Re.

I think it's a W56 A or B  but I'm not sure. I was trying to buy a M.C. HD shift lever seat and all to take slop out of tranny.

Yep, W56 A or B

If the center plate between the 2 halves of the tranny is aluminum it's an A
If it's steel, it's a B.
