i have a couple of questions.

first my frined has an 84 22r that he just put a webber 32/36 on and when he hits the gas i dies any ideas? My next is are FJ40 axles any good its a 74?

You have the carb to rich or lean. And fj40 axles are so so. Nothing special and drum brakes, you'd be better off with a 79-85 mini truck front axle.
