I parted an 83 a whike back & think I still have the good 5 spd out of it. Ill check the shop tomorrow and let you know. You wouldn't happen to have a 1st gen 4runner sunroof for trade??

No sunroof.  I did break the one for my '82 about 12years ago though :hammerhead: So I feel your pain.

Josh, thanks for posting up.  I just picked up a W56 transmisison from Ironclad. If change my mind about the extra work to install the later trans, I'll see if you still have it.  I am looking for some plain steel wheels for a 79-81, got a set of those?

Do you have a pic of what the stock wheels look like? I may have a full set

I don't have pictures, but here a couple of links with pictures of trucks with the original wheels:

The wheels all came white from the factory, as far as I know.
They need to accept the hub caps, I just bought new ones from Toyota!
I think they were the same wheel as came on similar year FJ40s.
I'm not too concerned with the paint on them, as I'll powdercoat them anyway.

Let me know if this sounds like what you've got.
Thanks
