shitlbuffout-A saying among 4x4 and off road enthusiasts. Its said after damage normally cosmetic to minor parts damage has occurred on there rig or vehicle. Shitlbuffout is :pokinit: will buff out as in the :pokinit: being the damage will buff as in painted over cleaned polished or "buffed" out.

4.88's will put closest to the stock set-up of 4.10's and 28" tires.  However if you are like most, you will likely want to run 35's or bigger tires down the road, so the 5.29 gear set might be a better choice.  On paper there is only about a 250rpm difference between the 4.88's and 5.29's in 5th gear(.851) at 70mph.
If you want to compare the difference in rpm's for different combinations of transmission gears-differential gears-tire size, these Drivetrain Calculators should give you most of the info needed.  The transmission gears for your transmission can be found here at Marlin's Transmission Gear Ratio Chart.
