hey guys, i have an 85 yota that i smallblocked last summer, i was still in school so i only had money in the summer, so i bought the truck all stock from my dad, it had a 22r in it, I put a 4" procomp lift kit, all new leafs, no blocks, then i blew the 22r, so i toyed around with the idea of doin a chev 350, so i found one for like nothing, it was a 4 bold main 350 out of a step van, i had to pull it my self, but i did, then the rly hard work started,  well almost hard, i had to pull the 22r out, witch only took a few hours, and then i had to buy motor mnts, that was about $120.00, so i did that, but money was an issue, i only had it when i got paid, and that was every 2 weeks, so id buy something, put it in, then i couldnt do anything until i got paid, next came welding and gusiting the advance adapters motot mnts, they jus dont look as storng as i want them 2 b, so i did, then i set the moter in, where i wanted it, now im running HEI so fire wall was an issue, but i had just enough room with a hammer and a few bad words i got it far enough back, to where i had enough room 4 my radiator, witch i had no idea wut one or size i was gona use, but i took a chance and welded the moter as far back as i could get it, with out cutting the fire wall, and boy did i come close, i welded the motor mnts and that was that, i bought a bellhouseing from AA and then i welded the moter in place, i wish i would of held it up a little higher, but i didnt, o well, next came the radiator/ fans, i had just enought room to run a radiator infront of the moter, no water pump fan, and short neck pump, and i put dual 12" flex-a-lite fan on the out side of the radiator, just behind the grille, I had a shop put on dual 2.5" flowmasters and i was done, So i built this toy for mosses lake, WA and my first trip was a one way trip, i was raceing this friend of mine, and i had jus got done beating a few banchies. this was on a 1/4 mile drag strip someone had set up, it was pritty nice for the middle of the san dunes, anyways i was raceing my friend, and out of no where this 3/4 ton chev p/u ran into my passenger side, it totold ,y truck, the whole front clip and frame was bent to :pokinit:, i wish i would took some picts but i didnt, that weekend i got an MIP and a totaled truck, was it worth it???  YES  it was and i have finally got my truck back on the road, it didnt hurt my 350 at all, I bought a new front clip from  certa fit and that was cheep, were talking $30.00  fenders, and $50.00 hood, CHEEEP  and i unbent the fram and made a new front cross member, so now i have a primerd front clip and passenger door, im planning on doing a dana 60, and 44, with a t-18 4 speed with a 205 transfercase, and coilovers in the front, and someday the rear to
When i die, i wana Be buried face down, so anyone who doesnt like me can kiss my :moon:
