Inside tire wear ?
« on: Nov 29, 2011, 12:22:21 PM »
I am running 37X12.50 15 MTR's with 12 inch beadlocks 3" BS.  I am getting excessive inside wear on both fronts. I have checked the Toe ? I get about 3/16 difference front to back. When I jack the rig off the tires I do not have any excessive movement top to bottom or side to side. All of my rod ends are tight.  Any suggestions on what else to check ?

either your toes is off, your bearings are shot, or your axle is bent

I am not hard on the rig I can not see or remember when I could have bent the tube ?   I am assuming a front end alignment shop should be able to straighten it ?  Any recommendations for alignment in the Fresno area ?

it doesnt take much to bend a toyota axle and i dont think an alignment shop would be able to straighten it. Most of the time we pull them off the truck and chain them down and use a bottle jack/cutting where necessary and weld it back up

Bent housing... I fixed mine with a bottle jack, a log chain and a piece of railroad iron.  Came out just fine.  Then add gussets and wheel on.
