I have an 87 4runner with a 22re and I found one out of a 92 truck will it work in my 4runner ?

With the 87 electronics (sensors and fuel injectors, etc) it should.

i thought in 90 they changed to high impedence injectors vs. low impedence they had earlier

If you just use the long block you should be ok.
