Need shop that specialize in 22re in fresno?
« on: Nov 20, 2011, 12:46:47 PM »
My car is acting up and i post and didnt get much replies. Im pretty stump and willingly to take this to a shop in fresno. This will be the first time i ever take any of my rigs to a shop for service. Im just totally confuse.... I need someone who are experience and knowledgable in 22re and not just the basic automotive repair shops... Thanks in advance..

I feel MC is more of drivetrain/aftermarket parts specialist.. This issue seems to be more of auto diagnotic issue... Im pulling a code 11 (tps) on my 87 runner, and no matter what im trying its not going away and i get a bad idle..

Marlin Crawler 100% over any shop in fresno

tps is your throttle position sensor which could cause it to idle rough, you could have a whole in your intake. bunch of different things. also im assuming your having an idle problem

my 87 4runner did the same thing. i took it to an independent toyota shop in san mateo. they calibrated(adjusted) the tps properly and that fixed the rough idle and timing issues. and i agree with everyone else, call marlin crawler. they are ALWAYS helpful when i have questions/problems no matter what type of issues! :beerchug:
