88 SAS 4RUNNER

I kinda regret doing a sas on my runner now that I am building my extended cab. I like wheeling a truck aot better, I dont have kids, and back seat riders annoy the hell outta me. I really enjoyed it when it was stock ifs, and on 31s. It was great for a dd or going long trips to camp.

22re with rebuilt top end 70k ago, new t chain set with steel rail 100 miles ago, new oil pump 100 miles ago, pushes 180 psi in all 4, runs great, very very small exhaust leak, prob fix before trade, runs great, id trust to go to new york and back, ive personally put over 80k myself on this rig, and its never skipped a beat, the head got rebuilt because prev owner put in plug crossthreaded and it broke off in the head, its fixed perfectlty now, been fine for 70k

Sased with 85 front axle, arp knuckle studs, marlin highsteer, dif armor, truss, knuckle gussets, full recent rebuild, and ill go through again before a trade, rears up front, full detroit, surplus center hydro assist, 410s, stock shafts and birfs

Chevy 63 springs in rear, welded, recent bearings and oil 410

Sr5 swapped interior, Marlin or ALLPRO?? Interior roll cage, carpet wrapped dash, looks clean, pretty nice for how old it is, It was deluxe interior when i got it, and I swapped it all over, has tach, and tercel inclinometer, sr5 seats with lumbar adjustment


CONS: Trans pops outta first, a pinky pressure will hold it in, upon inspection shift seat was totally gone, i ordered one, but during sas work, lost it. Back window stopped working, I jumped power straight to motor and ntohing, so I think its motor, and I have a known good motor to go with it. Thats all I can think of right now?

Im only looking to trade it really. since gotta have price, 5000, Very very specific on what I would take. A trekker, a stock  1st gen 22re runner ifs or sa, or a 3rd gen extended cab 22re 4x4.  Not really anything else.

The truck does have stock gears, but nowadays you can buy 529 thirds cheap and a dime a dozen. I know it has stock single case, but if its a deal breaker, and your rig deserves it, I can include an adapter and a top shift case to go duals.

I nevr really got any pics of it wheeling, theres a video in the build thread on bottom of page 2, im also thinking of taking it out this coming weekend and thrashing on it, and if i do, Ill take pics

i've seen this rig & would trade in a heartbeat if my 87 was clean. hell, id even throw in other stuff. hate to see you get rid of this sparky.  :smack:wish my interior was nice glwt.

i prob wont trade it, im picky about what i want, ive had a few offers so far, but nothing that stands out. I really want a straight trade, not someone adding cash, id like the runner or truck i get to be clean. My runner is pretty damn clean minus the dent behind door, which i didnt do, and the crinkle in the fender. i was quoted 300 by a body shop to fix it. I just want a stock runner or 3rd truck for long distance camping.

not really no, id trade it for a stock 1st gen runner clean tho, that 85 is a badass truck, i get offers on it all the time, it just went to king of hammers, and the grand canyon last month, 18 mpg was the low and 24 was the high, good power, and runs tits
