How-To tub front fenders

So it looks like its easiest to pull the fenders, cut and tub firewall, then install fenders and cut the fenders to match the firewall ?

I didn't pull mine, I just cut and the welded. That bout sums it up ;)

I agree.  Go buy some big tires and cut the sheetmetal 'til they fit!

anyone know if it is possible to tub the firewall on a first gen and not trim the fenders.  i want to tub it, but i am about to paint my truck so i don't know if i should wait to paint and trim the fenders first or go ahead and paint them without trimming and be fine when i go to tub the firewall.

do it all before you paint it.  It'll turn out much nicer if you get all the grinding and  :flamer:  done before you have all that purdy new paint stuck to it  :disturbed:
