Zombie Apocalypse?
« on: Oct 19, 2011, 11:55:10 AM »
So whats all your plans? Just got caught up with the TV show, "The Walking Dead". AWESOME show if anyone wants to check it out, but thats another topic.

But, it made me and my room mate realize that its only a matter of time before were faced with this issue. We realized that our campus is most likely the number one place to hold down a fort. Why?

1) We have a weapons locker already. The honor guard and drill team has a room filled with M1's with ammunition as well as some 10 gauge signal cannons.

2) We are surrounded on water on 3 sides.

4) We have a 545ft ship at our disposal to use for whatever we want. If everything goes to, we just cut the mooring lines and sail off. Perhaps just anchor a little offshore.

5) Theres enough fuel to run the 1250 kW generator for 7.8 years.

6) We would knock down the wall between our room and the next one, therefor giving us a double wide and move down the the 01 deck. We wouldn't be on the ground floor but would be able to jump out the window just in case. Also, our room is next to the ladder well so some sort of escape trunk into it would be perfect.

7) Most of the building is built to be "cadet" proof. Therefore I'm sure its zombie proof.

8) We already have a regiment therefore some form of order is already in place.

Overthinking this? No, the zombie apocalypse is very real.

I know you all have some plans, so lets hear 'em!

Same here. Not alot of practical stuff but it makes for a sweet collection of stuff. Forgot my grab and go can: .308 and 30-06 incendiary, 9mm incindiary tracer, 12ga dragons breath. Mostly neat stuff like that. I got it handled lmao

I'm not fanatical about it...and I doubt I would tell you if I was a fanatic  :ninja: , but, I get in to prepping. One important thing...don't give away any info, until you must.

Everything I have, that's related to prepping is named (in the accounting program), in part...ZAR (ZAR-****). ZAR meaning...Zombie Attack Repellent.

napalm?

Yep, cheap, easy and versatile. If you dont get it on you

Sail boat with cabin, dog and guitar, some solar panels, a good hat and glasses, good multitool. Fish and purify water. Wait it out like Jimmy Buffet. i'd have to grow some citrus on board and learn to eat seaweed for vegis. Dry and burn driftwood and seaweed to cook over.

12ga with buck shot to disable, I favor a good AK myself for some quick trips for zombie sport hunting. A good sword might be helpful

Sounds like vacation

I'd be more worried about non-zombies trying to jack my stuff.
