Been looking for info for a full floater rear axle swap or if anyone has tried coming up with their own home made kit ,such as long side front axles for the rear .Dont want to go with the (FROR) kit it just seems pricey for what little you get with the kit 2 adapters and 2 axles, and you supply everything else.

I agree, its a great idea (FROF's kit)  but WAY over priced.

If i were a machinist it would already be done.

I heard Downey used to make a floater kit that used long side SA axles, has anyone seen one or even better yet has one that could be borrowed to make some copies from.
