I must be lucky because I NEVER had problems with my Detroit or the backlash. Never even heard a peep out of it and never felt the clunk of it. And I DD it for almost a year with 35 13.5 toyo mt's
I don't trust anything that bleeds for 5 days and doesn't die....

Nope was an 88 manual single cab longbed. It did good cookies on wet pavement so I know it was working.
