Best Motor and Transfer Case mount combo
« on: Oct 03, 2011, 05:28:27 AM »
I'm putting a new motor in my truck, as well as dual stock(2.28) cases and a budbuilt x member. Based on what i've read, I think I'm going to  chain the stock motor mounts and get HD transfer case mounts. (I don't want excessive vibration because I drive this truck a lot on the road, but i also wheel it hard.)

Any thoughts, experience, or suggestions? Thanks

Here is what some of my friends have done. No need to chain. I think they did it after they already broke the mount.

Go with the front range x-member and then build your own motor mounts from some leaf spring bushings.  I did it and got less vibration then I had using stock mounts on both t-case and motor. Plus my stick doesnt move left and right under acceleration.
