My co-worker is giving me a the whole A/C system from his 22re. My truck never had A/C, so would i need to swap all the dash stuff aswell and would i need anything to rig it to a 22r?

Same year?

I had a 87 pickup with no A/C. Bought a factory kit and everything bolted right in. Wiring was already in place, just had to plug it in.

Your heater has all the duct work. The A/C box went in place of a spacer next to the heater box.

Had to punch two holes in fire wall for lines but, they were already semi punched. Kind of a pressed in dent where the holes would go. Get control and label too.

As long as it is from same year/model truck, it should all bolt in. If it's not...............I don't know.
